Rangapuravihara - Brindavana Saranga

This is an experiment that a student of mine, Emil Jensen, did keeping a recording of mine over which he composed harmonics and added a horn-quartet (trumpet, alto horn, trombone and tuba). This is the final result. The speciality is that all the notes used in the Harmonics are from Brindavana Saranga, no extraneous notes/swaras! Truly well done!

Thank you for uploading. Im from denmark from the same city of aarhus where Emil i studying. I have myself been travelling india for 1 year and im very fund and inspired by indian musical tradition. I use the inspiration primary for improvisation in my drumming i the more free spririted tradition of Jazz. And this sounds so very nice. Om Nama Shiva :-)
