Yes I am going to ask TRD for a supercharger very soon. I have seen 1 pull with it and I have beat it once and finished 3 ft behind it.

I do think Toyota wants to kill the big 3. They have their own loyal following. In my case Toyota has been great to me, they sponser my truck and in return I show the world what it will do. My tundra has pulled in over 80 classes in the last 2 years and had no problems what so ever. And when I pull as you can see by my videos I dont baby it. I think I have let off only 1 time I can remember. I also have pulled many times weighing 8,000 lbs. Hove many 6,000 lbs trucks can hold up to that

@txpsd9673...and if it weighed 9,500lbs, which NO pickup weighs dry, then it wouldnt be a gas engine in a pickup now would it. Gross weight would be that heavy.....weight of vehicle plus cargo...have i lost you? Lol.

@2010THEDRAGON None. It makes over 800ft lbs at the wheels too. My boss has a tundra and to put it nicely, i have no interest in owning one.

According to edmunds, Toyota is going to enter the diesel truck market next year with the diesel tundra which is going to kick absolute hell out of the dodge, chevy and fords with a much smaller turbo diesel, 4.5L 300HP 525ftlb torque and 22 mpg to boot, built right here in the good ol USA unlike the ford's, dodge' or chevy's. I have a 07 Tundra half ton and i have pulled 10k behind it many times up through the mountians of tennesse and it never left me anywhere or left me guessing!!
