yea i really don't want to deal with accutane. the sideffects are just so bad and my liver has enough to deal with already with the T, don't need to add accutane to the mix. i think i'm just going to stick to minocycline for now and see what happens in a few months. the downside of mino is that i get lots of headaches =/, and they are the kind that don't respond to any meds except for vicodin...so, just not fun in general. back acne is def painful, i totally hear ya dude.

congrats on the good changes, sorry to hear about the acne. i'm having the exact same problem. after my 6 month mark i've just had horrible acne. i've tried prescription antibiotics, both topical and oral. i'm on minocycline right now, my next step would be accutane which i don't want. i even just had a consult today with a laser clinic for photo dynamic laser treatments. nothing seems to be an answer...hopefully it goes away for both of us =/, and yea it's painful!

thanks! yeah, the acne really sucks... i don't mind it so much on my face, but i never imagined it could be so painful to have on my back. let me know if you find something that works. hopefully you won't have to deal with accutane. if it comes down to that for me, i'm really anxious about how it would work out with the ipledge requirements and stuff... but hopefully neither of us will have to find out! good luck with the minocycline
