Some pretty good air/distance those dogs have. I'm ex GSP owner (I plan to get anoter later in future) and I've always been impressed by those dogs. Great hunters, great with kids, other dogs, with cats i've noticed and best way I can describe is an average marriage; off and on moments of bickering lol.

I have a gsp that can jump about 18 feet or farther in our pool and at our camp off the dock into the water for a tennis ball... he is 2.5 years old and next summer we are takin him to the cabelas dog jumping contest because everyone that has seen him said that he would most likely win. he is the best dog and def. the best breed!

Good boy Moose! My Jager used to freakin' fly off the dock for a stick. I had someone ask me how many times she would do it. I told him "Until my arm gets tired of throwing it". Hunting ducks with my buddies she would beat the Labs to the ducks every time. Amazing smart dogs!

Great video!! There is no more athletic dog than a GSP. They can do it all. I lost mine about a year ago and think about him every day. Luke never did a dock dive but he sure did love to swim. Thanks for bringing back some great memories.
