ctd. Anyway VARIOUS things including water injectors *can* allow people to set things up to get the flame propagation in the cylinder to be more optimal towards that end. So that's why many times in certain applications people observe some gain in mileage after optimizing some process like this. I can't personally testify to any of them however. And I've certainly seen some fraud plans (eg. 'hydrostar' ) which I believe are disinformation efforts by those wishing to discourage alt. energy

@Idiovirida I have a good physics background. What you say is peripherally correct, however there are some things many people fail to count into the equation. I've done the physics while working on a 350 vega experiment years ago (it got 27mpg with a holly economaster carb btw I think it was called. I never got around to building the VV carb I designed.) I found with thermal efficiencies as they are in that motor 100mpg would be theoretically possible if near 100% of fuel burns near tdc

Anyone with a basic understanding of physics understands why this doesn't work.
A simple answer is this: you can produce hydrogen and oxygen from water. However, this process takes energy. Indeed, this process takes MORE energy than you get by burning the resulting hydrogen.
There is no such thing as a perpetual motion machine, which is essentially what these guys are selling.

it works, i tried it. its not just extra fuel, it aids the combustion process. It does not violate the law of thermodynamics. now, if they said it used just water, that would be a scam.
how much electrolyte power does seawater have? maybe a seawater-power plant could generate enough to make a lightbulb go on for 24 hours?

Use your noggin people. Any system that uses energy to break something down (water) CANNOT return more energy, it's simple physics. This is totally a scam for your money. Notice there's no technical info here.

As soon as you draw current from the alternator it becomes more difficult to turn. The power to turn it comes from the engine. You are using a combustion engine to generate electricity to electrolyse water to produce hydrogen. There are energy losses at every stage so you cannot get more energy out than you put in.
