This is a project for the course "Issues of Law, Policy, and Ethics in Global Technology" at Suffolk University Law School in Boston, MA.

This video tries to show the contrast between the proceeding liberalization of trade in times of globalization and the stagnating or even increasing restrictions on people's freedom of movement with a focus on the causes of migration.

I would have never imagined how much work it is to compose a ten minute video but it was the first time I tried to do this and it turned out to be great fun thanks to iMovie.

  • What makes you think we will have free movement with a one world government? What makes you think a one world government will stop people from starving and stop all wars? Saying that our problems in the world are all these unjust governments and then saying the answer is creating a Super government with access to even more power will make us a more peaceful society is void of logic.

  • Excellent video :0)

  • I meant no offense to German people by calling eugenics Hitlerian, and I apologize if I misundertood the video. Noone blames Germans for Nazi crimes, as I hope Americans are not for Bush's. Hitler was Austrian anyway - no offense to Austrians. This video did seem to me to indicate population size was the main cause for climate change and disasterous weather. I feel strongly that any harm to the environment is a result of currupt leadership choices and that a depopulation agenda is based on lies.

  • I'm the one who made this video by the way. Different account...

  • I didn't mean that the problems are due to pop. growth! I only tried to illustrate that overpop. in some parts of the world (among other reasons) might cause people to leave their homes and move to better places in the future. And when they decide to do that, they should be allowed to move whereever they want. I tried to contrast the abolishment of constraints when it comes to trade and the perpetuation of borders for people. And since I'm German, I'm very sensitive to comparisons with Hitler!

  • This is infuriating. People starve due to unnecessarily continued problems with distribution of food and not with production limits. Katrina was a disaster in large part thanks to FEMA and the tsunami killed so many because there was no warning when there should have been? Our problems are not due to population growth. We have the wrong people at the top making important decisions for us badly. Cut them out first if we need to lower the population, or cut this Hitlerian eugenics propaganda crap.
