No, I meant GS...Suzuki GSX models were the evolution of the GS series of 2-valve per cylinder air and oil cooled four stroke motorcycles. The first 4-valve engines were produced for the 1980 model year, but retained the "GS" designation for the US and Canadian markets until the release of the GSX-R models in 1986

So loud pipes save lives eh? If you are so concerned about safety, get a Volvo.The enjoyment you get out of those pipes is not worth the aggravation they cause HUNDREDS of people every time you go for a ride.

Don't you mean the GS series had 2 valve heads and the GSX (750,1000 as in Katana, 1100) had 4 v heads.
