@derangedband Same company. We couldn't use copyrighted characters without having to pay, so all the pogs were CAP Toys characters.

Wow. Hadn't checked in this video since I posted it. 293,000 views! That's kind of amazing.

Behind The Scenes: The shot where the kid has mountains of pogs was done with a big board that covered the whole room (IIRC, the room set is forced perspective to make it look bigger). Then we poured like 15 trash bags full of store-bought pogs to cover the board. I think one or two of the kids took trash bags full of pogs home with them.

a 37 minute documentary Brad & I did in 1993 about POGs in its birthplace, Hawai'i can be found on Internet Archive (archive.org) by searching for "Milk Cover".

I so remember Pogs, sadly it all died out eventually and then the next craze came after, Pokemon.
