I dont have the gift.

I actually believe happiness is our birthright. I have done a lot of study and personal energy and spiritual work to come to this conclusion, but I really believe that we are meant to come here and enjoy life and be happy overall. If you look at many primitive cultures they were generally happy people naturally. Anyway, this is my only personal belief and my beliefs are always evolving. ;-)

My boss criticised me, but maybe I deserved it, or maybe I should unionise and get my boss to shut the fuck up, jesus all this anti-depression stuff its all aimed at fucking wages slaves, can't any of you see that?

Fucking sums it up can't even get help for depression without some fucking advert trying to sell me something getting in the way, no wonder so many people want to top themselves, just make sure you take out a member of the capitalist class on your way won't you?

@ween121 blaming your parents for your problems is futile, although, there is some truth in it.

Being happy all comes down to one thing
Whether you had worthless parents or good parents

Thank you Doctor - good advice.
I believe happiness to be a gift. You either have it or you don't. People who are by nature happy, are not likely to become miserable, just as people who are naturally of sour mood are not likely to learn to become happy.
We have a natural disposition which we won't be able to alter by much. We all have our glass filled to the same level. We see it as half empty or half full. That's the hand we were dealt. All we can do is play it.
