Rudy Starita and his brother Ray were well-known musicians in the UK, participating in countless record sessions and film short subjects after having moved there from the United States.
Boosey and Hawkes of London published a number of Xylophone Solos arranged by Rudy Starita, in sheet music portfolio form, circa 1930.
Rudy Starita also owned a custom-made "Octavibraphone", probably built by Leedy, which was a vibraphone built in the same fashion as the Octarimba.
