Insignia HD Radio intro

The Insignia NS-HD01 portable HD radio comes with a USB charging cable, armband, and ear buds. You really need full-size headphones to get the full benefit of HD radio quality. This radio only tunes FM stations, not AM stations. The radio can be charged by hooking it up to a computer that has a USB port. Some computers have to be turned on or be in sleep mode in order to have power in their USB ports. You can also buy separate USB charging adapters for car cigarette lighters or for AC electrical outlets from RadioShack or some other store. I was trying a new external microphone, which is why the audio sounds scratchy.
