Battalion Wars - S Rank: Battle of the Coral Atolls (Mission 16)

Decided to go back and play this game again. S-Rank it and all that jazz.

This level was actually a little difficult to do, it's very vast so mobilizing your troops effectively is a must!

POINTERS:

This was my first time completing a "complete sweep" with a bomber. I've found better paths and I'm sure you can too. The main point is to clear the tank and artillery on the NW island, and to draw the strong tanks to the southern shore of the NE island (Just do a fly over). Be sure to fly low to help prevent enemy AckAcks from locking on.

Also, you HAVE to manually aim the BattleStations main guns. Just because the targeting reticule is on target doesn't mean jack if the gun isn't pointing there.

I was a little sloppy, but still got the speed. If you are shooting for 100%, tighten up your flow of battle and be sure to wipe out all enemy infantry for "Power". (A flame vet on the SE island does wonders)

awesome s rank one thing it says the heavy tank has 4 armor its easy to destroy it but the battlestation has a armor of 5 and its man hard to destroy it i hope they make battalion wars 3 soon

They are kind of irksome, aren't they? The problem is, the people who made the game want everyone to be EXTREMELY stereotyped and cartoony. They probably knew it completely overturned the general "serious" tone of war games, and decided to go all the way with it.

(That's why we've got a cheerleader for a Brigadier)

The one thing that I loved about this game is that the Rifle Grunts look and sound like children. >:^)

The Gunships can attack the Bombers with major impunity.

Manually control a Heavy Tank the whole time, use just the Heavy Tank, and see if you can at least bait and dodge the Bomber. You can't really kill it anyway because the game thinks it's cool to not give you any AA units. But at least you can kill everything else on land.
