Pavel Chesnokov's great piece "The Evening Sacrifice."
The choir is Schola Davidica (www.scholadavidica.nl), performing in the Janskerk in the center of Utrecht, The Netherlands. And that's me doing the solo (and in the pic). :) It is SUCH a fun piece to sing, especially in a big church. So mournfully Russian, I love it. I had a couple questionable notes, but nevermind...
Hope you enjoy!
Chesnokov is, and always WILL be my boy

Translation: Let my prayer arise in Thy sight as incense and let the lifting up of my hands be an evening sacrifice. Lord, I have cried to thee. Hear me! Hear the voice of my supplication when I cry to Thee. Set a watch, O Lord before my mouth and a door about my lips. Incline not my heart to evil words or make excuses for my sins.
It is sung during the Liturgy of the Presanctified Gifts, a Lenten service in the Eastern Orthodox Church. The words are taken from Psalm 141.

This a song used in Eastern Orthodox and Eastern Catholic vespers services. I encourage everyone to visit an Eastern Church to see the vespers service. It's one of the psalms. "Let my prayers arise as incense and the lifting up of my hands as an evening sacrifice"
