  • the 2nd model prius is called a "gen 1 prius" in US as it was the first one sold there. this is the real 1st generation as sold in Japan, I have 2 of them, 1998 models. I can't believe this video, it is DANGEROUS! the first thing that has to happen is you remove the linkin the boot that this video shows still in place even after the pack is removed. lifting it does nothing, you have to pull it right out to render the pack relatively safe BEFORE working on it. these are more dengerous.

  • @clint0n224 this is a NHW10 prius sold in japan and europe from 1997-2000

  • not a gen 1 prius battery
