it is a caprice, but the numbers where changed so it's now a impala on the papers, the car is 2 years ago sold. the engine is right it was a oldsmobile, and yes the lpg fucked the engine

@craig1974 I beg the differ on the 305 being more reliable then the 307 olds. Most of those late70's early 80's small block chevys were prone for early camshaft failure!!! I remember cadillac owners swapping in a 307 -350 olds in there cars that were equipped with the 4100 v8. They weren't big powerhouses but they were just as dependable as the 305 chevy! The 4 bbl quadrajet on the 307 were actually bigger and had a higher cfm then the ones on the chevys at the time!.

I own a 1989 caprice wagon has the olds 307 w/ the 4bbl carb 250,000 on her still runs great needs bodywork bad I don't live in a salt free state. Someday I want to drop in a built olds rocket 350 and maybe covert it to a six speed manual.

i got a 81 impala wagon same color as this but it has chrome side view mirrors. different headlight and grill and no hood ornimate.mine dont have the 3rd seat ot the truck brake light

I have an 85 4 door caprice, it amkes people feel pretty stupid when i race them because they call it a granny car, well my "granny car" is packing a 454 big block with a pistol grip shifter, i think thats not what granny would take to get groceries.
