If I'm not mistaken (and what are the chances of that? har har) the villainess/saloon lady/used to be 50 foot woman pulled a derringer and got shot by the villain/romantic interest. The derringer was a close use weapon, not at all accurate more than 2 or 3 feet. She was trying to shoot someone across the street with it? Corman really had no idea wtf he was doing, did he?
