in california you have to go through a special course where you have to be 21 to enroll in
also you would need a special trucking license i doubt you would have that at 16
especially because they wont even let you drive for half a year while your16
or were you just like on the passenger seat or something
still
the max hours a day for a minor in my state is 8 hours a day on non school days also

i was payed 12/hr for part time as a trucker. and was working about 12hrs a day. best pay i've ever had, and i was 16~

@cdltpx The best I ever made was with Shaw construction they paid bank all told $150Kyr with bonus and pay of $25hour +ot. Most truckers are not paid by the hour and if you get $12 an hour you are getting paid well even if you are top of the food chain companies can get away with it. The pay strucrute is by the mile and some of these companies don't know WTF they are doing. Knight are ok but they can suck royaly. The most organized is JBHT. To be honest I am out the game on SSD Injuries.

@DeviousBetrayer It depends where I was working? When haling for JBHT I did pretty good usually cleared ~$3-5K mth, When I was working for Groendyke I averaged only $9 when I compared my logbook my paycheck. The better of the pay was Logex ~$70K or more but you have to be top of your game to work there. Worst I made was the owner operators Hargis Transport Pomona I barely made enough to eat. If you get into trucking go to a decent school work 2 years no matter the pay then get on with good firm
