The number of unrestrained occupants involved in roadtrauma in Victoria was rising; some 25% of those killed were not wearing seatbelts. This ad highlights how in the event of a crash, unrestrained car occupants can cause profound injuries to others who are belted.
Neurologist Dr John Olver takes us through what happens to an unrestrained passenger in a crash and shows the long-term head injuries from which the victim will never recover.
