In recent weeks the general public has mobilized to face US legislative threats to Internet freedoms. Far from a conclusive victory, however, the death of SOPA and PIPA only highlight the latest in a series of measures that are seeking to create a legal framework for government-administered Internet censorship.

  • I won't be surprised if the government stages a false flag attack on the internet by supposedly having all their servers hacked then blame it on the public as in small or large private groups such as anonymous to give reasons to shut down the internet only to the public. I never did trust that group though. I believe that some anon attacks was the U.S. government all along.

  • James, your clear and factual presentation of the well titled piece on internet censo rship is powerful and provides basis and context to the general public. I hope this video gets traction and goes viral because the public needs to be informed.

    THANK YOU!

  • When cable TV was first available where I live every town had it's own outlet. I live in Weymouth Mass. Soon after it was the Tri-Town Cable (or something). It included Weymouth, Braintree and Quincy. Then I think it was Southeastern Massachusetts and so on. Now we have Comcast as do millions of others. Big Brother is watching philipnute com

  • 06:12 min.. why these guys always want to make everything into threats to the States?

  • The virginity is strong with this one.

  • @hplaserjet2001 There is no reason to think so before excluding all the other much more likely possibilities. Thousands of sites go in and out everyday.

When there is censorship, you will certainly know it, unless you buy into conspiracy theories of course, in which case you can always say it's the reptilians

  • This doesnt directly have to do with internet censorship, but its good to watch anyway; /watch?v=acLW1vFO-2Q

  • @YouBeMadlol it will need to be something far more personal than that.. in order to justify information censorship. they will steal money from a large amount of citizens bank accounts and get the people scared and pissed the fuck off..than blame it on anon or some shit. "I am a firm believer in the people. If given the truth, they can be depended upon to meet any national crisis. The great point is to bring them the real facts."

  • @heloizyjhenifer

My point is that these websites are not available for an unknown reason that could be censorship or ???
