  • @gigi101060 lol, they dont have lions running free :) just small animals, and if they're big - they're too sick too run around, otherwise they'd be back home. i should have said its more of an animal sanctuary than a zoo, but people refer to it as a zoo. anyway, its one in millions so not too much to talk about. in the end, its up to every single one of us to make the choice if we live and let live or if we take over and rule the nature. just... good luck with the latter..

  • @TheCuddlyFriends a good idea and I think the only helpful one. but I must say I would be afraid going to see lions without a fence between us, better I turn on the TV and see lions etc. there. we are no longer in the middle-age where kings had to show such wild animals to demonstrate there might. to children I would show hedgehogs, sparrows, snakes (we nearly don't have dangerous ones here), animals who are also living in our region. I would fear the thought, that children see zoos as normal...

  • @gigi101060 sorry, this time it was my english that was bad ;) i was thinking about one (1) zoo that I have seen in my life - you dont pay entry, unless you want to donate to a particular animal. what they do is they find hurt animals and provide shelter. you are not allowed to come too close as there are no cages (just water holes). they do not take out healthy animals out of they environment - i should be clear on that. i agree with you - that is the cruelest thing about zoos..

  • @TheCuddlyFriends zoos cannot remake a species, where should they let them back into the nature? they are like exponed artwork, we go there and look (what we have destroyed). Do you give the tigers in India any chance? No, the towns are expanding and spread over the jungle, people feel insecure to live with tigers, so they shoot them. children today even don't know what a cow is, for them meat comes from the supermarket......

  • @gigi101060 yeah, im still not too happy, even with those "good" zoos... im cool with those that try to extend the species that are dying out (because of us, obviously). but there arent that many of those...

sure, feel free to msg me anytime! :)

  • @TheCuddlyFriends great !!! You were that encouraged to say what you thought? This is good, although the zoos are better nowadays..... years ago I was in Vienna, there was a bear alone in a hole in the ground, only soil, no grass, nothing, the hole only 2 meters long !!! I got tears in my eyes. Later on this zoo was closed. Good ! If you want to speak with me sometimes, let's write emails here on youtube, there is more space to write !!

  • @gigi101060 this reminds me how i got banned from a zoo some years ago - i had already seen many animals that have been placed in wrong environment for them but when i got to penguins - there were hundreds of them, as far from their place of birth as they could be, in this tiny, dirty small cagelike box with some mud for water... - i just went into hysterics... so i got banned... The word certainly does not belong to us and I dont understand why it's so difficult to get for some...

  • @TheCuddlyFriends austrian parrakeets (or love-birds, look like small parrots) are smart too: in Innsbruck (Tyrol) they have seen these tropical birds together with the sparrows, also in winter and people feed them. But our zoos are not open, but much more modernized than years before. I am against circusses with wild animals. Also zoos should give their animals a fitting ambiente. I think we have to watch our backs, yes you are right. The world does not belong only to humans!

  • @gigi101060 see, dutch parrots are smart ;) one guy was trying to breed four of the really fancy kind, some 20 yrs ago, they managed to escape and now one of common amsterdam birds is a sparkling parrot :)) so now, even the zoo keeps most of bird cages open and then the birds make "friends", not slaves. its weird how far we went away from our origins and how we dont realise its going to bite us in our backs very soon...

  • @jennifergwaine only i find more and more that cats have bigger peronalities than humans ;))

  • @TheCuddlyFriends I love to practice it, it is really enjoying to understand other languages. I am not that good in italian, although my father is italian, but he does not live here. At school I had 1 year in French, then I learned the old Latin and later on Spanish, I can understand it still, but never speak it.

  • @TheCuddlyFriends I thought especially of the parrots, which I have seen myself in the wilderness when I was in South America once. That beautiful birds and then they are coming to Europe in a cage with ship or airplane !!From 100 I heard will die 90 !! Also snakes belong to the deserts or woods, not in our dining rooms. We also feed here the birds, although it is difficult to tell the cats that they are not a meal for them. But I have a big net on my large balcony,so nothing can happen to the birds.

  • @gigi101060 well, its not "very common" here, but it still happens. and i am sad about how the snakes are fed but also i feel bad for them cause im pretty sure a small cage is not a happy place for such snake. and yes, the birds - ????? i feed the birds from my balcony in winters and feel satisfied with their company this way. i could never imagine putting them in a cage for my pleasure :((( so sad...

  • @gigi101060 yes, its so much easier for them to communicate. i guess thats an additional skill we can learn from cats :))) you can always practice your english here! :))

  • @catsri7503 SO TRUE! Thank you! :)

  • @TheCuddlyFriends Just like people with their different personalities. It keeps things interesting. :)

  • @TheCuddlyFriends

    You are so sweet!!! Thanks;)

I am so glad you made this video!

  • amazing wonderful beautiful cats sleeping love the two at the end peeking out adorable video 100 thumbs up 5 stars to them all and yes everyone remember to ADOPT ADOPT ADOPT you can get the most loving beautiful cats by adoption they need warm loving homes to

  • @TheCuddlyFriends thanx, I like to speak English and here I have the right "training" for this. You are so thoughtful, right, often I don't understand some dialect words or idions, for English and Austrian cats it's easier - they have the same language. And yes - one often can be ashamed to be a human !!

  • @gigi101060 your English is perfect! we just wanted to make sure our message is clear :) again, thank you for telling us about Kathi. I heard of people and black cats - it makes me ashamed to be a human sometimes...

  • @TheCuddlyFriends furthermore I have to say, that here nearly nobody has snakes in his house, it's not usual here. Only some young people buy such a snake, which comes from other continents but they cost a lot. Often I can read in the newspaper that a snake escaped and the owner has to pay for all the costs of the fire brigade to search it and pay also a punishment from the judge. Here people have cats, dogs and often birds from South America, what I also don't find good, the poor birds !!

  • @TheCuddlyFriends oh yes, I understood this.... we don't have many cat breeders here, only for the Persian Cat. These are very expensive. I said "buy" because of my poor English, sorry for that. I meant to give money is a protection for a pet or other animal that you don't use it for cruel things and therefore I had to give for my black Kathi 100 euros, this is much money !! The black cats need more protection, because some "strange" people take black cats for .... you know what I mean.

  • @jennifergwaine Maybe??????? I have plenty of footage of gienia waking cesia up, never otherwise :)) Its so funny how individual they can be ;)

  • @TheCuddlyFriends Maybe Cesia sleeps more? LOL. Since they're so tired, I wonder if they are already bored of Stormy's party? ;)
