Eurovision 1972 - Netherlands

Sandra and Andres performing "Als't Om de Liefde Gaat" ("When It's All About Love"), the Dutch entry at the 1972 Eurovision Song Contest.

I realize I'm probably in the minority here, but while this is certainly a cheerful, happy number with a fittingly energetic performance by both Sandra and Andres, it somehow leaves me cold personally, and I find its 4th place kind of overrated. But that's just me...

Sandra Reemer's song from 1976 is better. Actually that one is great!

From certain angles the chap reminds me of Jimmy Page (of Led Zeppelin). I think that suit would be great for a 70s fancy dress party- the flares and lapels don't even need exaggerating in the name of irony!
