Quasar later became part of Matsushita Electric, today known as Panasonic Corporation.

Should run your sound output into the computer when recording and it would get rid of the projector noise. I have to say though this is great stuff and very glad you put it up. I'm guessing these were reels for TV stations. I know they used to do stuff on 16mm for commercials. I wish the country would completely restore all our old films like this and put them in a repository on the internet. I know with our technology it could all be restored. Thanks for bringing back the memories.

Yes, and it can be vented too. It takes forever to dry a load. I had to get a belt too, which was about 15$. I got the dryer for free.

Thanks for looking those are really interesting commercials. Ektachrome I think turns toward the red colors as it ages.
Very nice collections of commercials and very interest too watch today. By any chance does the film have any identifying marks? It looks like Ektachrome, maybe?

No markings on the film other than commercial name. Each commercial is on a 3" plastic reel with no markings.
