Luke Garrett is among the few who have a Christocentric lyric. Most CCM today is not God to man, it is man to God.
I also agree with knightmusak. Too many churches today have replaced the image of Christ with the image of the pastor. Instead of building God's Kingdom, they are building their own empire.
Beautiful music, lyrics, but kinda strange as a advertisement for a church and it's members. I'm glad there is such a place to worship, but when singing about the Messiah shouldn't we see visions of Jesus instead of the pastor of mega church. Who's the Messiah here?
@mekinney2001 Amen to that! Few people can belt out a song like Luke Garrett! If you get a chance to hear the following from Luke, you're in for a treat: "Ever Constant Ever Sure", "Magnify", "Then Came the Morning", "Judgment in the Gate" and pretty much anything else from him.
