@Jennifer41097 I found a solution that works for me.. I've just plugged my PSP in the back USB on my computer.. the front aren't that reliable.. hope this works for U too.. :))

Check the USB cable and try a diffrent usb port.
Remember the PSP needs a memory stick IN it first.
i'm using a hacked bios an OLD one. so i dont know if the new ones say pleas wait all the time or not.
check see if the PC is trying to laod drifvers or has a new remvovabul drive.

Jack USB type male mini B to USB male type A
Type 1000 does not use the 5v power form the pc for anything other than communications if that.
Type 2000/3000/slim/GO and above i've no clue i don't have them.
kind of wish i did i'd like tv out.
