@Junieprior Yes both were made by Key animation. However Kanon came first and in my opinion is superior to Clannad in every way.

@LolCats42 I had the feeling i'd incur alot of hate for dissing on Clannad. Clannad is good but it's my own personal preference that Kanon 2005 is just better. I'll make it worse by saying I prefer Clannad to After Story as well =P

I love all of the anime from Key/visual arts :) when one of the games comes to my country, I'll buy it the same day it comes to the stores, even if I have to buy a Playstation Vita just to play that one game :D

For me, it's the characters. I like all of the characters in Kanon, but only a few of the characters in Clannad.

So it's hard for me to like Clannad/AS better than Kanon if I don't even like Nagisa, the main girl in the story.

I like Kanon more than Clannad and AS. I think because i always like flashbacks on the characters as kids.

@MrChearlie2 Lol yes, I think it AS is supreme. You would do anything better after many tries, so this is probably the case

@MrChearlie2 I'll be honest I prefer Little Busters from Key to all of the others now including Kanon but my order is still: Little Busters > Kanon > Clannad + AS > Air.

I go by character likability, plot and conclusiveness. In that regard I think Kanon is better than Clannad AS and Little Busters beats Kanon in a similar fashion.

@exax0echo0... yes I know that, I really can see the evolution of air, to kanon, to clannad to CLANNAD AFTER STORY, and probably without kanon... what am I saying, probably without air, kanon and clannad would never existed, but still, I think that After Story it's just supreme.
