Normally you can only reach a maximum of about 256 km/h, but by hitting the ground with the helicopter, you can accelerate beyond that.

When you reach around 400 km/h the controls start to reverse and become really sensitive, and if you would push too much up or down, your helicopter would crash even though it doesn't hit anything

When you reach around 600 km/h and hold left or right to go in a circle, the speed starts to increase faster than inside a black hole.

The game doesn't display numbers that are over 999, but the maximum speed here was 3099 km/h.

  • How did you know the speed was exactly 3099 even though it was too much to display? Did you look at the memory adresses?

  • @Peachtotheinfinity nah, i just looked at how many times it reached down to 999 after it started flying. the memory address for speed for this game is hard to make sense of

  • @3iikka Though the overall video was good, the "joke" at the end was not amusing at at all. The mass loss of life that day should be treated with respect. So many people were murdered only for a political statement from a terrorist organization. There is nothing amusing about such a tragedy and loss.

  • @fsmith9106 it's a joke about the conspiracy theories

  • "What really happened on 9/11"

    I lol'd too hard.

  • Wow! Over 1000km/hr flying an autogiro in a slip no less!

  • I really enjoyed playing this game. My fav of all of the 64 games. Had a blast flying with the gyrocopter, even when not trying to score on missions. I used to crash into the NY and Chicago buildings all the time and just have fun doing it. Those were the good ole days.

  • DAMN! You're like going Mach 2 or some shit after you did the black hole trick!

  • Never mind.

  • I think I figured out how the ground glitch works (I am not saying this is how it works but it's a possibility). First the physics. I think that the greater the slope of the ground and if the plane is in the best position for crashing (controller tilted too much in any direction in relation to the slope) it'll crash because a certain variable (likely speed) is too high. However the exception is if the plane is tilted forward (not so little as to land but not so much as to crash) in relation to

  • lol the 9/11 joke was hillarious

  • lolololol you hit the stature of liberty perfectly (:
