Rep. Shelley Berkley: Palestinian State at U.N. could "create a failed terror state"

Shelley Berkley: "We must oppose Abu Mazen's misguided and dangerous effort to bypass negotiations with Israel and go to the U.N. with a unilateral resolution in order to create a Palestinian state. The ramifications of that are extraordinary. It could destabilize the entire Middle East, put Israel on the defensive at the International Criminal Court, and create a failed terror state right next door to the State of Israel, controlled by the Iranians I might add."

@Musicofthissphere Also, why are you bringing up all these other countries? since when does Saudi Arabia represent the Palestinians? Jews were welcomed and offered a safe haven in Palestine and many other arab countries at a time they were persecuted in Europe (until they showed their true intentions) . Palestinian christians have been living with muslims for centuries with no issues. Please educate yourself, stop spreading your ignorance, and stop wasting my time.

@Musicofthissphere Am I ignorant? the vast majority of these settlements you refer to as legal are built on land which Palestinian civilians hold deeds to (without compensation). An example, in the city of Al Beireh in the West Bank theres a settlement on a hilltop on land that belongs to Al Taweel family, they were not compensated, in fact they aren't even allowed access to their land that surrounds the settlements (outside the settlement walls)
