  • You can claim this about any genetics population and yet populations are traced and lineages discovered for the most remotest peoples around the globe. This guy hasn't done a shred of research and is blowing smoke to cover up the fact that all science points to American Indians having come from Asia and not the middle east.

  • Excellent information. Thank you for posting this on YouTube.

  • Your faith is based on something more than Jesus Christ and His Words. For you, if Joseph Smith fails to prove the test, by His lack of propriety, morality or word, your faith falls apart. If and when Mormon doctrine finally proves to be erroneous to you, what religion would you revert to? or would you leave the Lord altogether?

  • Gal 1:7 which is really no gospel at all. Evidently some people are throwing you into confusion and are trying to pervert the gospel of Christ. 8 But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel other than the one we preached to you, let them be under God’s curse! 9 As we have already said, so now I say again: If anybody is preaching to you a gospel other than what you accepted, let them be under God’s curse! THE BIBLE WARNED US ABOUT ANOTHER GOSPEL AND THAT IS THE BOOK OF MORMON.

  • yes it does. What do you lose if the book of mormon is wrong? Isn't God still God? God loves you even though the Mormoni Angel was a demonically inspired vision as mentioned in Galatians 1:6 I am astonished that you are so quickly deserting the one who called you to live in the grace of Christ and are turning to a different gospel—

But NO ONE can prove that they also have Japanese ancestry. If the tests cannot find any mtDNA from their Japanese grandmother, who is alive and well, how reliable are those tests in finding Israelite mtDNA from 2,000 yrs ago? The lack of Japanese mtDNA in those children does NOT mean that they are not part Japanese.

The lack of Israelite DNA in the American Indians does not disprove the Book of Mormon.....end

Our 2nd daughter married a man whose father's paternal line is Danish, and his mother's line is Japanese. They have two sons & a daughter. All three children have the mtDNA of their mother, which is my wife's mtDNA, which is from Sweden. The boys have their father's Y-chr, which is from Denmark.

Using the same tests that Murphy & Southerton used, one prove that those children have Swedish ancestry, and that the boys also have Danish ancestry.....cont.....

The DNA used to condemn the BoM is mitochondrial DNA (mtDNA). Women pass mtDNA to their children. All of us inherited our mtDNA from our mothers. The other genetic marker being used is the Y-chromosone (Y-chr), which is passed by men to their sons.

Tom Murphy & Simon Southerton say the BoM is false because Middle East mtDNA cannot be found among the American Indians. Southerton also says the same thing about the Y-chr.....cont.....

  • Stategy. Speak just above the level of your constituents with just enough information that they can understand. Therefore, they will believe your entire premise and conclusions without understanding that your logic and foundation is faulty. Fact: DNA proves that no tribes in the Americas have any Semetic/Jewish DNA markers. The odds that this could happen amidst all of the possibilities of sampling errors that the above Professor believes to have occurred are approaching zero.

  • LDS Church presidents making visits behind the Iron Curtain included President David O. McKay's speaking at a June 1952 Berlin conference at which many East Germany members were allowed to attend, and Spencer W. Kimball's 1977 landmark stops in Poland and Dresden, GDR.

  • The future LDS president supervised the distribution of thousands of tons of much-needed church welfare supplies, including stops in the "Russian Zone of Occupation" — central and eastern European areas that soon would be nations under communist domain.
