Circle Line Emergency Exercise

The Circle Line Emergency Exercise was jointly conducted by the Land Transport Authority (LTA), SMRT, the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) and Singapore Police Force (SPF) on 20 March 2010 (Saturday). This exercise was organised to test the operational readiness of CCL from Dhoby Ghaut to Bartley before this stretch of the Circle Line opened for passenger service on 17 Apr 10 (Saturday). The accident simulation was designed to inspect the preparedness of the equipment and facilities in the event of an emergency as well as check the capabilities of the CCL Operations Control Centre and emergency personnel to manage crisis situations effectively and efficiently.
