Serial killer of women in Seattle? This aired (or was copyrighted) in 1972--before Ted Bundy and Gary Ridgway started their murder sprees. Could they have watched this episode and been influenced by it? :-/

That old man the Book Keeper is TV's Mr. PEEPERS, 1952 to 55. Easy to recognize! There was a NIGHT STALKER & a NIGHT STALKER the Strangler. The first & original 2 part program. Starring Darren Mcgavin also! HUGE, HUGE difference from the TV serial! The original NIGHT STALKER, scared the living Hell out of everybody: Made us believe again in Vampires!

@d2dotson That's a fact. We had Nightmare Theater here in Seattle in the 70's. I couldn't wait to watch it, even though I usually fell asleep just after it started at 11:30 on channel 7. Then I'd wake up when the station went off the air for the night and I missed it again. How I wish I could still sleep like that.
