@take1video you are close, Hanoi Rocks' name is influenced by the song "Chinese Rocks", as the band were influenced by The Heartbreakers and Ramones. They decided it was too close to the song, and instead settled on the name Hanoi Rocks. "Chinese Rocks" was (and maybe still is) a type of heroin.

Hanoi Rocks; great band name. Ranks up there with Barney Rubble and the Cunt Stubble. I need to check them out. I thought they were another shit hairband like Poison.
