BTW - pretty neat canter & passage/piaffe... You don't see a lot of people posting vids of them doing canters with gaited horses, even if the horses can canter quite well. Perhaps they don't know how to train them canter undersaddle? I'm just guessing. I had a pacing Standardbred I taught to canter, but I really don't know much about other gaited breeds. -That canter is definitely unique in relation to non-gaited horses. Is it comfortable? I couldn't imagine having a horse I couldn't canter.

Beautifully executed video!
Where di you find him and who trained him? I am in a lot of pain and so far can ride special Lusitanos and other Spanish horses. I love my classical dressage and don't with to give it up for a gaited horse! I need the challenge of dressage to give me something to do. Just trails are not enough. I doubt I could sty awake long enough for endurance .:-)) Now I've had to sell my Lusitano and move back to the US. I dread it with all my heart. I'd like to know more about the Peru. Paso and dressage!

Danny was bred in California and ended up in MN w/ a friend who also owns Andalusians. My friend had a trainer from South America who trained his Andalusian to high school (see Lechoso video) and he also trained Danny.

Superb! Am actually hoping to get my peruvian paso stallion ready for the first 50 miles endurance as well. Already started with my mares.. never could I have thought that a ride as smooth as a paso also has that much energy for endurance!
How is your horse doing now?

Danny is doing fantastic as ever. We've completed several 25 & 50 mile AERC rides.
