I am incredibly sorry if i may sound harsh:

But please stop comparing Harry Potter and Twilight.

They are two separate series that are written in two different ways.

Rowling and Meyers are two wonderful authors, but their technique and style cannot be more different. Rowling plans everything down to the t, while Meyers goes with the flow.

In conclusion, they are wonderful books but should not be compared because they are two DIFFERENT STORIES!

Well, honestly, I think she really jumped the shark with BD. She kinda drifted away from the love story part of it.

Please don't take offense to this. I loved the book to pieces, but it wasn't really exactly what I thought.

well actually you could compare them

i mean most ppl hate twilight because of the fact tht they think meyer ruined the whole idea of a vampire

but she just made it her own

but u can stil compare vampires to vampires

beacuse theyre...vampires lol

it would be alright to tlk abt how different they are and how the authors stlye differs

I know i realized that..but i wrote that before i read breaking dawn, i had to wait an extra week before mine came..

And lmfao not even other vampire series really because those are loosely based off of Dracula-Bram Stokers description, Stephenie said she had never read or seen a thing about vampires when she created twilight...however i guess you can say for some stories the redemption of their soul might the closest you can get to it.

but not with the lupin and jacob comparison because heyy people jacob is not a werewolf

he is a shape shifter

said so in BD

so they are two very different characters

and you really cant compare the two authors beacuse number one two comepletely different minds and stories.

if you wanted to compare twilight to lets say another vampire series then be my guest

but not harry potter

I don't know, but i seem oblivious to why anyone would compare or even contrast them in the first place?

Other than minor similarities (ie: protagonist being teens, Lupin and Jake are wolves (well that doesn't even count) they don't have anything in common.

Seriously they are just two amazing series end of story, stop putting them in the same sentence.

Even Meyers said" she was flattered to be compared to Rowling but she doesn't think it's gonna happen again.

Yeah BD there wasn't as much love story in it tbh but at the same time there kinda was.

i'm so sad that theres gunna be no more edward and bella ): but i have to admit she did end it very well. i was very pleased! :]
