You can use your phone charger to charge the battery. However, mine came with instructions and stated NOT to plug the mobile power station r into the phone and then plug the charger into the power station. So, it might burn up the phone if you do, I haven't done it.
My power station works well. No complaints.

Uhmm, where does the power come from to charge the ipod/phone? :S
