Vive la langue d'oc! I would call it "langue d'oc." Occitan (the word) is an invention of the 19the century.

Note the similarities between the Catalan subtitles and the spoken Langue d'Oc. The two languages are first cousins.

"roman" would be even more correct then... but who cares... if they identify their lenguage as "occitan" than "occitan" is the right word... la paraula ve adenant de la lenga!
