Keynote speakers at the 2001 Environmental Land, Air and Water Conference in Eugene Oregon. Paul Watson, founder of the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society speaks first, opposing all forms of whaling, included that earlier conducted by the Makah nation in northwest Washington state.
Churchill speaks next, defending Makah cultural and subsistence whaling rights.

He reminds me of Douglas Adams, a great man who is interested in nature! Douglas wrote that book "last chance to see" and in some point it becomes similar to this, so it is one of my favourite books and Watson is also one of that kind of human! And I don`t care what people think about him some things must be done and I think both of them choosen the right way!

churchill is spot on.and to all the churchill haters out there,working to discredit him based on his 'fraudlent' native status.so he may have been told lies by his family . what have YOU done for the indigenous population here? ward has devoted his life and work towards championing their culture and rights.. his work and intention is a clear declaration of his purpose and pardons any misunderstanding of his own heritage. anyone that speaks against it is superficial

This guy is now spouting BS with circular sources about what he calls "Global Warming" (and scientists call climate change). Its also funny that he bitches about the media, the media he somehow gets on even though he has been thoroughly debunked. I guess any prostitute can get on tv if they try hard enough, but it helps when many of your views align with large companies like the ones that own tv stations. Ward is correct, Paul is at least misleading and probably outright lying.

On the subject of the speeches, as I pointed out when I shared this on my Facebook wall,, "Paul is one hell of a speaker and delivers a powerful message in terms that anyone can understand"

As for Ward, He needs to learn the part of the English language that speaks to everyone, not just to the folks whom are impressed by his command for legal rhetoric.
