@starry2006 Really? Again, this certainly is certainly very good, but I wouldn't be terribly sastonished were it proven to have been written by Joseph Haydn, or even Micheal Haydn. I'm not really hearing the Mozartian difference; that is to, some quality that even upon a first hearing makes one say, "Ah, yes, that could only have been written by Mozart".
All true; this is after all the work of the adult Mozart.
Even so I would insist, strenuously, that it simply will not bear comparison -by any criteria you choose- with the awesome, jaw-dropping magnificence of the symphonies from 35 onward. Indeed I think it no exaggeration to say that here a sharp, abrupt line of demarcation may be drawn. At the commencement of symphony 35, it's almost as if a switch had been flipped.
@Joeiaro I think there is a fair amount of variety in the first movement, the slow movement has a great lyrical beauty, the minuet if included has some interesting harmony, and the last part is great opera buffa (I might even prefer to the last movement of the Prague). So I would say it is quite a weighty piece and I think some nice textures at times (eg the strings in the slow movement). He may well have done more complex pieces but complexity isn't everything for me or Mozart..

The conclusion of this movement reminds me, somewhat oddly, of Beethoven's 'Egmont' overture.

@polymath7 I prefer this to 35 or 36, great as some of those are (like the slow movements).
