Robert Bullard has been called the father of the environmental justice movement. For more than two decades, he has championed environmental protection as a civil rights and social justice issue. As global climate change poses special challenges for communities of color and the poor, the commitment to environmental justice is a value that can unite us all, across boundaries of race, class, gender, age, and geography Series: Voices [8/2009] [Humanities] [Science] [Show ID: 16936]
yes, i agree. when it comes to environmental justice, i think everybody would unite. our need for peace cannot unite us, but the environment can.

Dr. Bullard, who claims to be for environmental justice, stated in a speech in Ventura, CA in August 2010: "I do not practice dead white man sociology, I practice kick butt sociology!" He replied to my e-mail as to what that is, that he believes in "free speech," standing behind his racially inflammatory statement. It is not only non-white people who are the victims of injustice. He undermined any position he preaches in the name of "justice." Yes, "ALL people are created equal!"
