Marine Diamond Mining

We recently modified the jigs for certain applications to improve the efficacy. What we did was to install 2 pulsators in serie, with a step of about 150mm from the first to the second - in addition we inserted a second extraction point below the jig, from which we can extract the concentrate produced by the first pulsator. This first extraction point will produce a top quality product, with a secondary product from the second. For diamond mining the second pulsator serves as a safety feature.

In this trial we re-used the same marine alluvial gravel from our last trials (it contains shells) and we also used the compartments that would normaly be used in diamond concentration. The trials were a huge success.
