  • @dodododa hahaha, tomas berdych, the ``nobody´´ you just refered to, nearly took out roger in 2009 at the australian open, do you even follow tennis on tv, I don´t think you do! because if you did, you wouldn´t call a very good tennis player, a nobody, you are obviously very unuware of certain facts, don´t bother replying this comment..

  • @reefric "Most" of them yes. But he has always been "beatable" in small clay court tournaments, because he doesn't care about them so much and he doesn't want to peak too early. Before his injury troubles he was "unbeatable" at the French Open. I'm not sure why most of you don't understand this concept... Federer was beaten in Miami recently by some nobody. Do you really think this nobody would have any chance in a grand slam?

  • @dodododa that´s not true, rafa actually win´s most of the tournaments, he play´s during the clay court season, leading into paris.

  • @reefric I respect your love of the game. But Roger plays at about 70% in small tournaments. He'll lost to someone in a small event, then 2 weeks later he'll destroy them in a grand slam. Several "ticky" players have winning records against him, including Murray and Nadal.

During the years that Nadal was "unbeatable" at the French, he would sometimes lose at the clay court lead in tournaments. At the French Open the same person won't be able to touch him.

  • @dodododa I don´t agree, in roger´s case maybe, he probably know´s how to pace himself very well, with the experience he has, but look at rafael nadal, that guy gives his all every single tournament, in every single match, probably the reason why he get´s so tired at some point in the season and sometimes injured, obviously the grand slam´s are where player´s dig the deepest, to find their absolute best performances, (ex:roger fed)

  • @reefric That isn't true at all. The best pros don't want to strain their bodies to much in small tournaments. Then there's their supplement cycle, they don't start loading some supplements until the lead up to a grand slam. They also use small tournaments to try new things which may or may not work.

  • it doesn´t mean roger takes smaller tournament´s for granted as well, a true pro is alway´s going to seek his best performance, no matter where or when..

  • For some strange reason, the last time Federer played Djokovic he was more comfortable and played really well and now - he is struggling.

  • wait ATP final in London and you will see who is the best player on the world
