    Cool story bro

  • This is one of the greatest live videos I have ever seen!

And to all who think it was bad not to leave due to the fire alarm: I think you fastly recognize if it is a real, big and dangerous fire or just a test/a small fire. If it is an emergency there are a lot of exits as daveplarkin said. If it's not, everybody leaves in a hurry, maybe causing injury to some and in every case destroying the whole evening. So I think this was the best way to react by both the band and the audience. Well done!

  • @LifeSafetySystems ... wait a go killjoy...

  • I'd die in a fire to see the Cat Empire live

  • dammit dave larkin of ottawa ontario, you just gotta believe in your instincts, which we did. Good times at the show yeah man. Except the Bronson center sucked. It might have been pretty cool to if a small fire did start and we all rushed the standing area as the band played through the fire and flames. Smiley Face!

  • I was there for this and looking back at the incident it's kinda scary to think what if it was a real emergency. The band didn't use pyro technics and the building had many emergency exits which was a plus. Still, you are right, fire spreads quick and you only have a small window to get out.

  • By not leaving immediately you may miss your only opportunity to avoid tragedy. Buildings are required to have and maintain these systems at great expense to provide a minimum amount of time for occupants to escape. I have a video posted that graphically illustrates what can happen.

  • This is some of the best inprov I'v ever seen. Respect to the band for being such good sports with it and playing through it
