Sealers or additional finish coats are not needed. Doing so will void any finish warranty you may have from the manufacturer.

rubbish floor, seen it installed a few times and no way would i put it in my house.

Buying a pre-finished hardwood with tounge and groove is the way to go.

From experience, this is a horrible product. It bows and flexes, it's noisy, and it scratches easily. I've even read that pets will VOID the warranty on the product. It is a substandard product that fleeces people of their hard earned money.
