Black Heart in Battle Garegga

This actually isnt MY video, per say, but from Icarus of the System11 SHMUPs Forum (forum at shmups.system11.org).
This person uses a ship unlockable only via putting in a code (Google it yourself if you wanna know). I mainly uploaded this to show some friends of mine what the Black Heart originally looked like since it's been remade in the new Xeno Fighters remake.
It's also the Sega Saturn version, not the Arcade, but that means nothing besides the background music and some optional settings to my knowledge. The ST thread for Battle Garegga (also made by Icarus) can tell you a lot more.

I think this is Icarus's vid. There's nothing weird about this. Scoring more gives you more lives to lower rank with. Bornnam is a great character to score well with less fuss and still keep the rank low.

@EnhasaSDA Thanks for the info. If Icarus wants me to remove it I'll happily replace it with one I recorded, I only intended for this as a demonstration of Black Heart.

His score is too high for him to have it on stage edit. That does seem incredibly low rank for a bornamm 8 mil score at BH...

Are you aware of the Battle Garegga thread at the SHMUPS forum? I found it there and I have a feeling that this irregularity with difficulty and scoring could be explained there.

As Ive noticed while playing Bornnam, this specific amount of weaponry is not exactly low but it isnt high either. I suspect he had it set on Edit Mode, but Im not an expert on the ways of Battle Garegga for Sega Saturn.

Wow, I'm in total amazement of how low-ranked Blackheart is for this battle! Even in my own battle his difficulty is greater, and I didn't milk anything to get there. I wonder how he was able to get soooo far into the game, and yet keep the rank on the low end like that.
