You know the funny thing? The only people who seem to exhibit motorcycle brand hatred are those who don't actually own or ride. I've never seen a motorcyclist shit-talk another one's bike but maybe the riders around here are just cooler and or more mature than that. I've had plenty of other riders (and a fair amount of Harley enthusiasts) want to check out my Raider and compliment it at stoplights or in parking lots. It's an atmosphere of mutual respect that non-riders don't seem to grasp.

Aha... your one of those guys that think that Harley invented the motorcycle... They didn't.What do you HD guys dislike about metric THUNDER. The japs simply took and idea and... improved it ...alot. Examples would be.. Honda, Kawasaki ,Yamaha and Suzuki.

People need to jusy enjoy their chosen rides (and in this case a sweet arse black one) and move on. Ironic isn't it, Harley rides tend to complain about the jap bikes, yet the jap riders don't give a crap one way or another about the HD. Like tattoos, those with them don't judge you for NOT having any, but those without tattoos judges us for having them. Enjoy your ride and stay upright.

i think the hatred towards jap bikes go back to the war,when they bombed us at pearl harbor,its been handed down to the younger generations to buy harley for american jobs and avoid buying jap because of the war,but hey ,this is america,diversity makes this country great,and we should ride what ever we like with out predjudice.nice bike man.heck with all the harley rider haters.

@thudable Thanks man - So far so good, the pipes and heat shields are ceramic powder coated. I haven't had any issues with fading. The bike now has just a few cosmetic changes, (seat, front fairing, pegs,etc) Oh, and most of the comments are positive. I've deleted a few of the negative one's that were just over the top, and all of them were from Harley loyalist. These are GROWN MEN, that took the time to type me silly negative messages. Who cares who made it, just ride it.
