River-Cade Festival Going Strong This Weekend

(SIOUX CITY, IA) If you're searching for activities this weekend, look no further than the 48th annual River--Cade Festival.

The carnival is already going strong in the Long Lines Family Rec Center Parking Lot and starting tomorrow you can head out to Grandview Park for all kinds of fun including a barbeque cookoff, hot dog eating contest and live music, and the best part is that it won't cost you a dime.

"What we're going to do here today, tomorrow, Saturday, is going to be an amazing day, free, music, fun, entertainment, smile contest finals, just all this other stuff, it's just going to be a lot of fun, hope everybody comes up here," says Phil Claeys, of the Port of Sioux City River-Cade Association.
