Standing Up For Strangers

I defended someone today, and got assaulted for it. But I'd do it again. The reality is that someone has to be willing to defend others who don't feel that they can or should defend themselves, for whatever reason. Sure, the random rantings of a stranger in WalMart may seem like small potatoes to some, but it's little things like that that can be the most hurtful.
