There is no version but the Moz's version. All else is "per se" garbage. Period.

What makes the original song so compelling is the incredible mix of foreboding coldness and genuine, warm longing. This duality is lost in the two famous covers; The AFI version discards all the darkness and sounds like a song of sincere, romantic wistfulness, while the MCR version swings to the opposite extreme, dropping all romantic notions to become a truly maniacal expression of pure, violent desire. Basically what I'm trying to say is, I like all three. (prepares to get thumbs down)
