  • There is no version but the Moz's version. All else is "per se" garbage. Period.

  • What makes the original song so compelling is the incredible mix of foreboding coldness and genuine, warm longing. This duality is lost in the two famous covers; The AFI version discards all the darkness and sounds like a song of sincere, romantic wistfulness, while the MCR version swings to the opposite extreme, dropping all romantic notions to become a truly maniacal expression of pure, violent desire. Basically what I'm trying to say is, I like all three. (prepares to get thumbs down)
