@ejbh3160 That is true but also one must examine the advance selling of BP stock a few months before a 'disaster' was announced,,,strangely much like the advance trading on the airlines on 9ll that sustained losses...financial losses would of been far greater for those complicit had the advance trading not occurred-those complicit made lots of money immediately following the disasters-Transocean and Helliburton are culpable too IMHO Their safety records are a travesty against the world

@RamsesReturns Ageed, I remember about 30 yrs back going to a rally supporting wind and solar, hydro and cold fusion...did not support nuclear for the very reason we see today-not forgetting the storage of radioactive waste for 100000s of years is still a problem with NO SOLUTION-Much like their response in Japan-no solution is known-as it was in the GOM...so they dumped the banned pesticide into the sea-as radioactive contaminants spew into the Pacific, it seems famine is inevitable

BP safety record in the petroleum industry is equivalent to TEPCO in the nuclear industry-SHODDY. Transocean and Haooiburton are culpable as well-I do not drive often.tony hayward is the one doing yacht races not I-the "elite" seem to think of the world as their private back yard-not concerned if it ruins the entire planet and all therein-creating famine,w/the stench of death is what BP and TEPCO will be known for and their colleagues who supported the GENOCIDE and induced a world of famine

Why hate on just BP? I'm willing to bet that every oil company would do the same exact thing if it happened to them. They don't care about us, or the environment. They only care about money. If you're going to boycott BP, you might as well boycott every oil company. Oil is a primitive source of energy that's destroying our environment, costing us billions, and causing wars.
