It's hard to believe I was in kindergarten at P.S. 65 in Brooklyn, NY when this song was released (1955) -- two years before Albert Anastasia got whacked in the barber shop (1957), 35 years before this song became famous all over again when Goodfellas came out (1990). Time flies. Good doowop is timeless.

Probably the best doo-wopper of them all. It's great that these tunes survive thru the internet!

@MrDerfinator I know Goodfellas was like a music video.

Scorsese has a great taste in music. Love!!! his movie soundtracks, and of course Goodfellas. one of the best gangster/mafia movies of all time. One of my favorites.

There must have been two dozen Peters and Pauls at the wedding. Plus, they were all married to girls named Marie. And they named all their daughters Marie. By the time I finished meeting everybody, I thought I was drunk
