  • i work for a fence contractor. this is horrible and inefficient, especially the way they frame the gate. just hire someone to do it for you folks, these guys don't show all the manual labor that is usually involved.

  • Note: When building your gates, dont cut the rails until all of your boards are attatched, framing a gate after the fact is much harder than just installing your boards and hinges, and cutting the gate free.

  • @DoctaGmn

Dewalt 18 volt cordless circular saw

  • @DoctaGmn 7 1/2inch DeWalt circular saw.

  • what kind of saw did he use to cut off the ends of the railing?

  • ...at the home Depot.

  • Now all we need to do is get Dave to the border.

  • I'm with jg8479, don't pour dry concrete mix and add water!! Also don't use galvanized

or zinc nails because they DO leave streaks on your fence, coated deck screws are best.

  • Excellent video. I really like the clear voice and direct instructions. There will be all kinds of detractors who leave comments--they seem to be especially bitter and knuckle-dragging on these DIY construction videos. But never mind--this is a great video. Thanks.
